Kris Pedersen Mortgages was established by Kris Pedersen in 2007 after observing areas in the residential mortgage market where clients were either being declined (when he knew a solution was available), or given an answer which was not in their best long-term interests.

Kris & his team have been ranked among the Top Mortgage Advisers in the country since 2017, and over the last 10 years has rapidly become the choice for property investors who are serious about wanting to expand their portfolios and utilise market leading advice.

In addition, he speaks regularly at various Property Investor Association groups, features in the NZ Property Investor Magazine and is a respected commentator on the property and finance markets in New Zealand. The Kris Pedersen team are able to find creative solutions for property investors that allow them to continually make progress in growing their property portfolios, and their clients range from some of NZ’s top property investors through to first home buyers and everything in between.

Kris has had experience in many varied areas of finance beginning in consumer finance where he was responsible for a team that was lending over $40m per month to over 3,000 customers of predominantly unsecured credit. Kris project managed initiatives that had been employed overseas, which were light years ahead of the NZ market at that time which he still uses today when searching for new and innovative financing techniques. From here it made sense to make a natural transition into non-bank lending to combine his long-term interest in property investment with innovative techniques of financing property. Kris joined the market leading non-bank lender who had introduced products such as 100% lending and low-doc loans into the NZ mortgage landscape.
